February is LGBT History Month and to mark the event, Solent LGBT+ Staff Network are screening the acclaimed documentary film, The Queen of Ireland. The film focuses on Rory O'Neill, better known as Panti Bliss, drag queen, gay rights activist and one of the leading figures in the historic 2015 referendum on marriage equality for same-sex couples in Ireland.

Funny, powerful and timely, The Queen of Ireland is part personal documentary, part social history… and entirely engaging.
